Slow Motherhood
End your day feeling nourished and supported, rather than lost in the overwhelm and stress of motherhood and life.
Slow Motherhood is for every Mother who longs to feel deeply seen and heard in the messy middle of motherhood, and find a space of peace, nourishment and community.
Perhaps you’re overwhelmed from being pulled in so many directions and feeling dragged down by the mental load of holding everything together?
Do you find yourself rushing through all the to-do’s with the promise of a rest at the end which never actually materialises.
Maybe the emotions you work so hard to contain, burst out as you snap, shout and hurry to get out of the house on time; leaving you with heavy feelings of guilt and shame…
This wasn’t how you pictured motherhood to be.
Yet you speak to other mums and everyone relates to the frantic experience of carrying it all, so you wonder if this just IS how it’s supposed to feel?
You find yourself getting caught up in the husband-shaming in the park, or sharing how it just might be a bit easier if you had family that lived closer, but this only adds to your own feelings of guilt and unworthiness.
Beneath the outward conversations there is an inner voice blaming yourself.
Telling you that you’ve not done enough, that you should just try a little bit harder.
AND you have a sense that this just isn’t right; that perhaps there might just be another way to do this motherhood thing…
We’re here to show you that there is!
Just imagine…
…enjoying just one kitkat from the multipack, whilst actually sitting down with a hot cup of tea.
…walking to the toilet the moment you need to, rather than waiting until after you’ve done the next thing and racing there and back.
…slowing down enough to be really present with the joy your child experiences as you sit and listen to their day.
…connecting with your family in a way you all crave.
…caring for yourself daily so you don’t feel the constant tug of resentment.
…feeling calm and grounded even in the most challenging moments.
…knowing wholeheartedly that your life, your joy, your passions and gifts matter too.
…noticing the small moments of beauty in life all around you.
…enjoying motherhood and the rest of your life too!
Introducing: Slow Motherhood
Slow Motherhood is a six-week journey to slow down, become curious and reconnect with yourself. It’s an online space for a small group of women to come together and experience peace, community and nourishment in the presence of motherhood.
What's included:
Each week, we will hold an intimate space where the whole of you is welcomed, and together we will journey through what it really means to slow down, and the presence which becomes available to us when we do.
The invitation is to come as you are and be held in sisterhood.
Six weekly group coaching sessions, to be held on a Monday evening at 8pm, for 90-minutes (these will be recorded for you to listen back)
Two individual one-hour coaching sessions with Debbie or Sarah to dive deeply into your life and look more closely at the patterns which may be keeping you stuck
Each session will include:
A short meditation or breathwork to ground us in the moment
A theme or gentle wisdom from the coaches
Journal prompts and reflections to prompt enquiry
Individual coaching within the group, for you to share your experience and receive deep listening, reflections and maturation coaching on a BodyMind level
We will also open up a sharing space on Whatsapp where we can stay connected, share and integrate what is moving.
Our intention is for you to feel held, seen and supported whilst on a journey of sharing, connection and inner awareness.
Are you ready and willing to lean into the unknown and give something back to yourself?

We believe the one-to-one support is an invaluable way to invest deeply in yourself and experience true holding and support on your mothering journey. We offer this as part of Slow Motherhood at a fraction of our usual rates in order to support you at the deepest level. If you already feel you have the support you need in place and would like to be a part of the group experience without the one-to-one coaching the investment is £279
What Slow Motherhood covers
The theme for Week 1 is “Slow Down and Be Here” this is the very essence of the Slow Motherhood journey. Our first session is all about exploring what it means to slow down. How it is even possible to slow down when there is so much to do.
We are not prescriptive in planning the themes for weeks 2-6. Our experience of running this programme over the last two years is that each group takes their own journey and moves at their own pace. Themes we have explored with previous groups include: trust, nourishment, receiving, boundaries, rest and commitment. We listen deeply to the needs and experiences that arise for each group as the themes are gently integrated into daily life.
Trust us to provide you with exactly what is needed; we will meet you exactly where you are.

This programme is for you if...
YOU’RE A MOTHER who has a deep sense that there is another way to be that doesn’t involve you feeling stuck and lost.
You are done with doing it all and feeling resentful and depleted at the end of each day.
You are ready to ditch the feelings of guilt and shame for having needs of your own that keep getting shifted again and again to the bottom of the list
You are looking for a group of mothers who also “get it” - who will come together to share the raw, vulnerable, ugly truth of the snotty tears, the explosive outbursts, the simmering rage that is ready to boil over at any moment.
This programme isn't for you if...
You’re looking for a parenting course
You’re still tied to an unattainable “Supermum” image thinking that it is possible to be always smiling and happy and never feel sad, tired or angry (we will encourage you to welcome and feel the full spectrum of human emotions)
You are convinced that there is no way that you can find 90 minutes in a week and that slowing down seems like a ridiculous thing to aim for when there already doesn’t feel like there is enough time in the day
You are only interested in helping yourself and not others
Who are we?
Introducing Debbie & Sarah,
We are mothers and certified maturation coaches who have experienced the transformational power of coming together in sisterhood: allowing ourselves to be supported and nourished in community.
We trained together and felt the calling to come together in order to hold a safe, loving space to support and hold mothers.
We get it. We are also constantly navigating the challenges of motherhood. But with our new perspectives we hope to offer you a fresh look at things…
We believe that motherhood is one of the most transformational periods of our lifetimes. It is a time of unbelievable highs and lows. We want you to be able to not only feel like you are surviving motherhood - but that you (and as a consequence your family) are able to thrive and truly feel alive during this season.
Hi, I’m Debbie. I’ve always had a strong calling to have children. I was always the ‘mum’ in our friendship groups, organising and nurturing everyone - it felt natural that this would extend into motherhood. Only, when motherhood arrived I found I'd become pretty resentful of always putting everyone else first. Coupled with sleep deprivation and the realities of parenting highly sensitive children, my life in motherhood (marriage and beyond) didn’t feel like the gift I'd always imagined.
My old way of surviving through ‘hustling’ and ‘doing’ life ‘perfectly’ was no longer enough and became a cage full of discontentment. I’d spent so long numbing parts of my life, I didn’t know how to actually experience the joy of the family I’d now created.
Learning to accept support, and welcome the full spectrum of my emotions I found the light and playfulness I always longed for. Yes, it’s still challenging and no, I'm not immune to the trials of parenting, life, hormones etc. but there is a spaciousness available to me, and so much beauty in my life too.
Hi, I’m Sarah. When I was younger, one thing I was certain of was that I wanted to “be a mum” when I was a grown up. What I never anticipated though, was the intensity and overwhelm that came with being a Mum.
In the early years after my son was born, I lost sight of myself. I spent my days constantly busy and doing, trying to be everything for everyone and rushing around feeling like I was constantly failing and couldn’t understand how I never felt like I knew what I was doing (despite reading all the books and endlessly googling!) I was exhausted, depleted and resentful.
I am still busy and I still do all the things that keep my family running (mostly) smoothly BUT I have a new way of being in my life that is slower and calmer and I love sharing it with other mothers.
The most important thing for both of us is that we are in the thick of motherhood ourselves and we get it. We understand that there are nuances to every family dynamic, but the Slow Motherhood ethos is central to the way in which we lead ourselves and our families as we navigate through life.
FAQs
Q: I’m a busy Mum, what happens if I can’t join the calls live?
A: The live calls are powerful. So we would love for everyone to be able to join live for every session. However, we also understand that sometimes things get in the way. So every call is recorded and you will be able to watch back afterwards.
Q. This sounds like something I would really love, but I just don’t have the time.
A: If you have read this far and this feels like a sticking point then we really encourage you to think about what support needs to be in place for you to join. If you want to have a chat with one of us - send a message HERE.
Q. My children are older, have left home or are about to fly the nest. Can I still join?
A: Of course. All stages of motherhood come with their own experiences and we welcome the full spectrum of the mothering journey into our groups.
Q. I’m not a biological mother, can I still join?
A: Anyone who identifies as a mother and is currently mothering in any capacity is welcome in our space. You may be a step mum, a foster mum, an adoptive mum… if you are still unsure please get in touch and have a chat with us.
Q. Is there a payment plan?
A: Absolutely; we want to make Slow Motherhood accessible for everyone - if paying in full isn’t an option for you right now then please reach out and we can find a payment plan (FYI: We will not charge you extra for choosing to split your payments)
Q. Do you offer scholarships?
A: YES! We offer one subsidised space for each Slow Motherhood programme. This mother may be a single mother, a mother who has experienced racism or marginalisation, a mother of a child with additional needs or is currently experiencing financial hardship. If you would like to apply for this space please get in touch HERE.
What happens after you click the sign up button?
When you click ‘Sign Up’ to Slow Motherhood a new page will open with a contact form and a payment link.
On receipt of your payment you will receive a welcome email with login details for the sessions and an invitation to the whatsapp group. We will also agree on a mutually convenient time for your one-to-one deep dive coaching sessions where appropriate.

Bring with you a warm drink and a journal/notebook and pen.
We also invite you to bring a candle with you to join us together in the light of the process.
